Pie A Teacher Disaster Relief Fundraiser!
The students of SJE will have an opportunity to purchase tickets
to “Pie a Teacher” during Hot Lunch periods on November 8 and 15, with the big
event happening on the 15th! Many of the children have been learning
about the effects of disasters in our global community, and this is a great
opportunity to give back while having a little fun. Tickets start at just 25
cents. Click on Disaster Relief Fundraiser [PDF] for details.
St. John’s would like to invite children grades 5-8 to participate in a new
choir at our church called the Evangelist Singers. This choir will sing a few
times during the year, including on Christmas Eve. The choir will practice
every Thursday after school, from 3:15 to 4:15. If you’re in Scouts or another
group that sometimes meets at that time, that is an excused absence. There is
also another section of the choir that rehearses a few Saturdays (not every
week) from 3-4, for those who cannot make the practice Thursday afternoons. For
more information, contact Dr. Mario at 301-326-8424 or click on Choir Permission Form [PDF] for details.
